Good morning my lovelies and we've woken up to a gloriously beautiful morning here in Bournemouth. Not sure how long it will last but I'm determined to make the most of it whilst it does so the washing line will be full of fresh linen dancing in the breeze shortly.
So as I'm waiting for that to finish it's a perfect time to introduce you to my last image of Crafty Sentiments Designs release week ... here is 'Ice cream day' and she's a beauty.
Now I've been wanting to have a go at making one of those pop-up box card makes for a little while and when I saw this image I knew it would be perfect surrounded by lots of yummy ice cream cones and in my eyes it will be New Forest ice cream mmmmmmm it's the best!

Papers: Make & Create 'Whimsical Pastels'
Card stock: Crafters Companion Centura Pearl 'fresh pink', 'dark chocolate', 'hint of gold'
Dies: Spellbinders 'Floral Ovals', Crafters Companion 'Happy Birthday'
A bit of a side view next. I made myself an ice cream template in three sizes and used it to cut out some ice creams from Centura Pearl card stock. The cone I used my score board to make a criss cross pattern and then inked with Tim Holtz walnut stain for some definition. I did have to use some pink wire to mount them all though as acetate wasn't strong enough they kept flopping over.
The close up next. She really is a cutie and my daughter has already ear marked this one for one of her friends birthdays.

Okay my lovelies that's all from me today. Don't forget to hop over to Crafty Sentiments Inspiration blog for some more inspiration from my team mates and the images will be available in the Crafty Sentiments Designs store from 12th June. I'm off to hang some washing on the line now and then back for a little colouring I think.
Take care and happy crafting.
