'Tress Skating' in monochrome

Happy Wednesday everyone, yeah half way through the week already.  I'm hoping its going to be a fairly nice weekend as it would be lovely to get out and about in the New Forest and it has nothing to do at all with the obligatory New Forest ice cream treat we always have after one of our walks, but what I will say is there are quite a few flavours I have yet to test for them and to not try every one would be just plain rude!!!!

Anyhow moving on, I'm sharing with you my Dies to Dies For card today and I used the cute Make it Crafty stamp 'Tress Skating' and I decided upon some gorgeously gorgeous Authentique papers called 'Elegant' and I thought if I coloured her up all monochrome it would compliment the papers lovely and I also added in a little splash of blue just to tie it all in.

Medium:  copics/promarkers
Flowers:  Wild Orchid Crafts

A closer look isn't she a real cutie.

Birthday Wishes

Good morning my lovelies and wishing you all a very happy Wednesday from a gorgeous sunshiny Bournemouth.

Today I am quickly popping in to share my Dies to Die For dt card with you.  I decided to use the gorgeous My Mind's Eye papers 'Chalk Studio 2' and I do love these folks.  I love the fact that I have only used one sheet of paper and just teamed it with the adorable Tiddly Inks 'Birthday Wishes' image.  I didn't want to cover up any of the paper really so just made a pennant from card coloured with the same copics I used to colour the image, stamped a black pennant from Whimsy's 'Celebration Pennants' sentiment set and cut it out.  I didn't think my card really needed much else so no flowers added today peeps.

Medium:  copics

A close up of the cutie pie image, isn't she sweet and so easy to colour.

Copics used

Face/Body:  E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair:  E31, E35, E37, E29
Dress/Shoes:  BG11, BG13, BG15 + W3 for added shadow
Cake:  R81, R83 + W3 for added shadow

Okay that's all from me today, I hope you enjoy your day folks.

Take care,

ABC Challenges - J for 'Just as you Like'

Hello everyone and wishing a very happy Tuesday to you all.

Well its the 15th of the month folks so its time for another new challenge over ABC Challenges and we have moved on to the letter J so that is J for Just as you Like (anything goes) and we are being sponsored by both Marianne Designs and The Ribbon Girl for this challenge.

Okay so my creation this time is something a little bit different.  I've used the new Whimsy Mini Chalkboard sentiments set by Simonne Clay and as soon as I saw these I knew I wanted to make a mini chalkboard so that's what I did and so love the finished card.

Flowers:  The Ribbon Girl and Wild Orchid Crafts

I inked up the sentiment with white ink and then heat embossed with some sparkly embossing powder.  I made the pennant from the 'Celebration Pennants' sentiment set and just stamped it on to pattered paper and cut it out.  I then added a few flowers and some black foliage using a die from the new Whimsy Garden Flower dies set which I love and is so delicate looking and my card was finished.

A closer look at the fab sentiment.  This set is so useful there's a little bit of everything in there for you from Birthday to Halloween.

Okay that's all from me today peeps.  Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by it is very much appreciated.  Enjoy your day and happy crafting my lovelies.

Take care.
