Lollipop lollipop ooh la la lollipop!

So going to have that song stuck in my head now folks!!

Well good morning my lovelies and sending you all fabulous Monday morning wishes.  Its quiet in the house today just me and the washing machine doing its thing, so what better way to spend my bit of quiet time than to share with you all a little bit of the Whimsy love.

I've made my card using 'Sweet Lollipop Boy' by Crissy Armstrong from the new March release.  I coloured him up using a mixture of copics and promarkers and used my papers as my colour inspiration.   They're not normally colours I go for but I actually like how fresh looking they've turned out.  I also used the fabulous new 'Sweet' word die by Simonne Clay and can see this one being used a lot folks.  I die cut the word and then used the actual die to draw around onto a piece of card to make my mat for it and once I'd stuck it down I then covered it in 'Diamond' Stickles as I wanted it to look like it was covered in sugar!

Anyway, let me show you what it turned out like.

Medium:  copics/promarkers
Papers:  First Edition 'Animal Antics'

A bit of a side view.  As you can see I decided to cut him out and used 3d glue gel to stick him down as I didn't want to cover up too  much of the paper.

Here's a close up of the image, such a gorgeous little fella isn't he and I'm not sure if you can see it in the photo but I did put 3d clear gloss on the lolly to make it look all shiny and sticky!

Copics/Promarkers list

Face/Body:  E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair:  E31, E35, E37, E29
Dungarees:  BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78, W5
Shirt:  Oatmeal, Honeycomb, Spice, W3
Grass:  YG00, YG03, YG63, YG67

Okay going to grab myself a coffee now and if I remember correctly I think there's a leftover doughnut with my name on it!

Enjoy your day folks.

Take care.

Bildmalarna Alva 'Feeling'

Good morning my lovelies how are you all today?  Gosh hasn't it turned chilly again I thought it was warming up a little!

Anyway, I've popped in to share with you my Dies to Dies For dt card.  I've made a step card for a change and I used a Cheery Lynn Designs 'Step Card' die and oh how I love this!  Really it's fab you run it through your machine and voila one step card all cut and ready to decorate and it even comes with dies to cut the panels and inside panel too, so absolutely no measuring, just love it! (It is out of stock at the mo but Tracy is getting deliveries all the time so just keep checking).  For my image I used Bildmalarna Alva 'Feeling' and she is so sweet and easy to colour.  I took my colour inspiration from the gorgeous Bildmalarna papers 'Music in my Garden' and 'Purple Flowers' and boy these are so so beautiful really didn't want to cut into them.

'I Do'

Hello my lovelies and I hope you are all enjoying your Wednesday so far.  Mine is quiet here today but I'm not complaining as that gives me time to sneak in a little crafty time.

So I am popping in today with my Dies to Die for DT card and a little wedding inspiration for you.  I've been playing with The Greeting Farm 'I Do' stamp set and they are adorable and I have made a wedding card with them.  My colour inspiration was taken from the Teresa Collins 'Save the Date' papers which are just gorgeous and I could have gone with the obvious white for the bride's dress but I thought I would buck tradition and have a pale pink one instead and I think it looks really pretty.

Okay folks that's it from me today, enjoy the rest of your Wednesday and try and sneak a little crafty time in - you know you want to!

Take care,
Ann-Marie

Tilda in Butterfly Dress - ABC DT

Good morning my lovelies and I hope it is a fine one where you are.  It is a glorious Spring day here it really is lovely to wake up to a bright and sunny day!

Okay so with it being the 15th of the month it's time for a new challenge over on the ABC Challenges and today's letter is H so that is H for Hair so we would like to see your creations  showcasing hair.  This challenge we are being sponsored by Tilda's Town so come on over and join in with us to have a chance at winning the fabby prize.

So for my DT card I had a good old rummage around my Magnolia stamps and picked out one I haven't used for a while and I've always loved colouring in Tilda's hair on this one.  I've picked some papers that are a favourite of mine and I don't use very often as I don't want to use them all up silly I know.  So Tilda is dressed in my favourite colour today - Red - and I always love teaming it with black as I think it always looks so striking.

Image:  Magnolia 'Tilda with Butterfly Dress'
Medium:  copics
Papers:  Tilda 'Wintergarden'
Dies/Punches:  Whimsy corners, Spellbinders 'Romantic Rectangles', Martha Stewart 'Lattice Heart' deep edge punch

You warm my heart!

Hello my lovelies and wishing a very happy Saturday to you all.  We've got glorious Spring weather here today and my little one has spent most of the day out on the trampoline and has now gone to a party so she will sleep well tonight!

Anyway a quick pop in from me to share a fun card I have made using Whimsy's 'Cup of Joy' sentiment set from the January release.  A few weeks back I made a cute teabag holder (which is HERE if you want to see it) which I am going to give to my mum for mother's day as she so loves her green tea.  Anyway I decided to make a matching card in the shape of a teapot and I used a template I found a while ago and if I can remember where I'll put a link in here.  So here's what it turned out like:-

Papers:  First Edition 'Love Letters'
Dies:  Spellbinders 'Fleur de Lis' ovals

A close up of the beautiful sentiment.  I love these they're ones I can see myself reaching for on many occasion.

Before I go I would like to enter my card into some challenges:-

Okay time for me to go I've got some orange butterfly cakes cooling waiting to be decorated with orange buttercream, mmmm that's my treat for tonight sorted just need to make sure I hide my one before everybody eats them all!

Take care.

Mary Mary quite contrary .....

.... how does your garden grow?! Not very well if it's in mine as I don't really have green fingers and it's pure luck if anything survives as I certainly don't know what I'm doing.

Anyway, happy Wednesday my lovelies I'm popping in briefly to share with you my Dies to Die for DT make for this week.  I was having a little rummage around my room the other day and came across one of those polystyrene wreath hoops which I have had for an absolute age and was gathering copious amounts of dust.  Well I decided to have a go at decorating it as I have my auntie's birthday coming up soon and it would be a great gift as she loves things like that.

Okay so I covered the hoop in white twill and went over with some polka dot ribbon for a little colour.  I inked up Whimsy's 'Miss Mary Contrary' from their January release and coloured her up in lovely fresh spring colours.  Now when I see this image I always think of her surrounded by lots of flowers so I glued on loads of flowers and die cuts and added the Whimsy pennant and sentiment and voila one completed gift.  I love how its turned out and the hoop came in a pack of two so I think I won't leave it so long before I do the other one.

Spring is in the Air!

Hello my lovelies, how are you all today on this fine Monday morning.  I'm just popping in to share with you all some Whimsy love to brighten your day.

There is a new challenge up folks on the Whimsy Facebook page HERE and this time it is to create something using Spring colours and will run till 31st March.  Well I was itching to ink up my adorable Crissy Armstrong image 'Cuddle Bunny' and decided to make a tent card as its been a while.  I teamed her up with some Maja Design papers 'Sofiero' and boy these are so beautiful.

Medium:  copics/promarkers
Dies:  Whimsy 'Notables 5' die, Whimsy corners, Spellbinders 'Labels 22', Cheery Lynn 'Fanciful Flourish'
Flowers a mixture WOC, The Ribbon Girl and stash

I wanted the sentiment to hang from the opening so just attached a couple of chains which turned out to be quite fiddly seeing as I didn't have the right tools to close the links back up but I got there in the end.  I also decided to go around the frames with some Liquid Pearls so much more economical than using all my little individual pearls and less time consuming too!

A nice close up of the image and she's such a little sweetie and lovely to colour.

Copics/Promarkers List

Face/Body:  E000, E11, E21, R20
Hair/Boots:  E31, E33, E35, E37
Clothes:  Promarkers Blue Pearl, China Blue, Indigo Blue/Blossom, Rose Pink, Maroon
Bunny:  C1, C3

Challenges I would like to enter:-

Okay time for me to go do something productive.  How I interpret that - well making a card is productive it doesn't have to involve a pesky vacuum cleaner right?!?

Catch up with you later folks.

Take care and happy crafting.
