"Close your eyes"

Good morning my lovelies and what a beauty it is today; still rather fresh but lovely blue skies out there and dare I say it a little spring like!  Right that's the kibosh put on the weather lets move on to my card.

I'm popping in to share with you all a card I have made using Whimsy's 'Ciara and Sandy' and are they not an adorable pair!  The beautiful sentiment comes with the stamp set and is in fact one of a few that you get with it, isn't that fab, I love it when you get complementing sentiments.  I took my colour inspiration from the gorgeous papers which are also Whimsy 'Love is in the Air'.  Loving these colours together should use this combo more often.  Time for some piccies me thinks.

Swing time with 'Emily'

Just popping in to say hi to you all on this beautiful Sunday.  Its quite a spring like day here and I love it!

I've got a card to share with you all today; made using some gorgeous Whimsy goodness.  I had a little play with the image 'Emily' by Wee Stamps from the January release and she is so very sweet.  I teamed her up with some Whimsy papers called 'Love is in the Air' and these are gorgeous by the way and the 'Everyday Moments' sentiments by Simonne Clay.  Okay time for piccies:-

A little pully wagon

Hello my lovelies just dropping by to share with you all a little creation I made for my Dies to Die for DT.  I've been trying to get this finished since Monday, but as its half term we've had a few visitors and family over so I kept getting interrupted but I got there in the end!

When I saw this little Candibean stamp 'Penny's Pully Wagon' my first thought was gosh she's a cutie patootie and then I thought hey I could make a little wagon and it would be great to hold a little birthday gift.  So that's what I did and I had so much fun and a little heads up - she's on sale too over at the Dies to Die for shop.

Once I'd made the basic wagon I decorated it with these gorgeous Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics 1909 papers - which are seriously lush folks and took a lot of will power to cut into I can tell you!  Anyway, all the edges were distressed with walnut stain and then I added the image and decorated with flowers and fab sentiment which I think is perfect for a little girl.  Piccies coming up next:-

Dies:  Whimsy Crown

Okay time for me to be off but I'm hoping to be able to do a little visiting around blogland later so catch up with you soon folks.

F for Flowers over at ABC Challenges

Good morning my lovelies, I hope you have had a good start to your weekend.  All is calm in our house at the moment, it's the weekend so pj's and mooching all round PLUS its the start of the half term, yeah!!! Not sure I'll be shouting 'yeah' by the end of the week, more like 'help me!' but that said I do love it when they're home.

Anyway, lets get on to why I'm popping in today.  Its the 15th of the month so we all know that means a new challenge over ABC Challenges and we have now moved on to the letter F so that's 'F' for Flowers folks how easy is that going to be!  We are being sponsored by Stamp and Create this time so make sure you join in to be in with a chance of winning the fab prize.  I've had a sneaky peaky at my teamies creations and they're gorgeous so why not toodle on over to have a looksie and grab yourself some inspiration.

It has been such a long time since I played with a Magnolia stamp I thought it was about time I put that right, so I inked up 'Summer Flower Tilda' as she's still one of my faves and used the fab sketch over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp.  Okay, lets get some piccies in here:-

Come rain or shine!

Good afternoon folks and happy Wednesday to you all.  Just a quick pop in from me today to share with you some Dies to Die for sunshine.

I have made a criss cross card today, this has to be one of my most favourite designs for a card.  I decided to use an Impression Obsession image called 'Pamela' and I thought she was rather apt for the weather we have been having of late.  She was teamed up with some gorgeous Prima 'Delight' papers which are so pretty and vintagey just love them.

Image and Sentiment:  Impression Obsession 'Pamela'
Papers:  Prima 'Delight'

A quick close up.  Isn't she sweet and so cheerful.

The Little Bird

Hello everyone.  Gosh Monday morning already I guess I blinked and missed the weekend then!!!

Well I'm popping in today to share with you some love of the Whimsy variety.  For my card I decided to ink up 'The Little Bird' by Cathy Delanssay from the latest Whimsy January release and teamed her up with the fabulous new 'Fairy Tale Dreams' sentiments by Simonne Clay and was inspired to make a card in the shape of a crown.  So let me show you some piccies of how it turned out:-

Sentiments:  'Fairy Tale Dreams' & 'Everyday Moments' by Simonne Clay SC Designs for Whimsy Stamps
Medium:  Copics and Prismas
Papers:  Papermania 'Henbury Lane'

I made a little tag which just tucks inside.  The sentiment on the tag is from the new 'Everyday Moments' set by Simonne Clay, lots of useful sentiments in this set folks.

Okay last piccie is the usual close up of the gorgeous image.  I decided to add in the pleats on her dress with pencils this time.  Sometimes on larger spaces I find it easier to add in pleats with my pencils as they can be a bit more forgiving that copics.

Copic/Prisma list

Face/Body:  E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair:  E43, E47, E49
Dress:  BG000, Light Aqua, Aquamarine & 70% Cool Grey
Branch/Leaves:  E43, E47, E49/G02, G07, G28

Right time to dash, must make some attempt at the housework today, seriously one would think a tornado has ripped through the house after all the debris the kiddies manage to leave lying around after the weekend!!!

Take care,
